8-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 caught on camera
Samsung’s upcoming hybrid Galaxy Tab S2 slates has been in and out of the news for some time now. With the tablets’ certification at China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification, TEENA, Samsung ought to have released both tablets by now.
Just this morning, another round of live pictures of the 8-inch Galaxy Tab S2 came our way, courtesy of French blog Nowhereelese.fr. The content of the image aligns with what we’ve seen previously and a diagram obtained from the FCC (pictured below), confirming the legitimacy of the leak.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 are built around the design of Samsung Electronics’ flagship, the Galaxy S6. If footprints left at a benchmarks website last month were truly from the slates, then you should be expecting a 2048 x 1536 pixels touchscreen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 8MP main and 2MP secondary cameras. The devices will be powered by Samsung’s 64-bit Exynos 5 Octa system-on chip. Sources suggest both tablets will break cover sometime this June.
