Alcatel announces the Idol 4S for select European countries
The Alcatel Idol 4S which is running on the Windows 10 Mobile platform and is being sold via major carriers in the United States is set to start seeing new markets now, according to the company. From the French arm of the Alcatel company, it was announced on their twitter account that they are planning the launch of their Windows 10 flagship mobile in the European region also. From the tweet, it has been stated that not all companies in Europe would get it but for sure, France should be expecting their own units.
For the device in that region, there is no word on either of pricing or availability yet and that is soon to change if this news is on the money. We say that because their French account is not carrying the twitter verified badge like their other accounts are but on closer inspection, it does look like a company representative is the one behind the account.
Focusing on the smartphone of the day, asides from the fact that the Idol 4S is a Windows 10 powered piece of hardware, it also excels in the sense that it is run by a QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipsets, pairing that to 4GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 64GB. For camera, there is a 21MP sensor on the back and an 8MP shooter on the front of the device, drawing power from a 3000mAh battery.
