Alleged pictures of Meizu MX5 Pro crop up
While it’s no Samsung or Apple, Meizu isn’t doing badly in its home country of China where the ever surging industry of massive smartphones aka phablets is keeping hundreds of brands in business.
It’s been only 10 months since Meizu’s last phablet flagship, the MX4 Pro, got unveiled and the company is reportedly hands dirty working on a sequel which will naturally get announced as the Meizu MX5 Pro.
The Meizu MX5 Pro is said to be sporting a Samsung-made chipset just like its predecessor. In this case, the all-powerful Exynos 7420 SoC — found on the Galaxy S6 and Note 5 — will be ticking inside the phone’s engine.
Not many things are known about the upcoming Meizu smartphone at this point, however, we do expect the display to measure at least 5.5 inches in physical dimension and 2K in resolution since the MX4 Pro had a 5.5″ 1536 x 2560 pixels touchscreen with 546 PPI pixel density.
