Alleged screen panels for the iPhone 7 feature in new photos
This is not the first time we would be seeing parts of the iPhone 7 showing up on the rumours and news sections and now, the newest leak in town might have just bared what is to be the eventual screen panels on the upcoming Apple devices for the whole world to see.
Touted to be the panels of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus, one of the screens comes at a size and resolution of 4.7 inches and 1080p respectively while the other is set at 5.5 inches with a 2K screen, meaning that we could be looking at 1440p.
With the source claiming that these panels would be courtesy of JDI, it is not that hard to stomach given the fact that JDI has been supplying Apple some hardware for a while. This big jump in resolution is somewhat disturbing though because this would put developers on the edge, making them start to source ways of adapting to the greater resolution and we fear that in the long run, battery performance would be affected negatively.
