Another LG G4 reincarnation pops out with lesser specs
The LG G series is LG Electronics’ flagship lineup. Feeling confident and satisfied with their work last year, the Korean tech company announced that we should expect many more devices with huge resemblance of the flagship line.
And here we are. After the LG G4 broke cover this year, we’ve handsets devices like the LG G4c and LG Stylo to name a few, bearing striking resemblance to the current LG flagship. Now, it seems that another G4-like device is set to join the fray as an unannounced device named the LG G4 S leaked out from Russia today.
According to our source, the G4 S offers less superior specs when compared to the regular G4. The specs are not that bad after all; because we’ll still going to see a 5.2-inch touchscreen with Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels). There’s an 8-megapixel camera at the rear side of the smartphone but we don’t know the exact pixel count of the front-facing camera.
The upcoming LG G4 S will be running on an octa-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz. With no mention of the make, we suspect the processor might be a Snapdragon 615 SoC from Qualcomm.
Finally, details of the release date were not disclosed but nevertheless, we’ll keep a tab on that as the story develops.
