Apple announces September 7th as official launch date for the next-gen smartphones
The day we have been expecting has finally come and now, we don’t have to start relying on some rumours, hearsays and alleged internal leaks anymore. While there have been speculations for some time now on when the next generation iPhones would launch, either as the iPhone 7 or iPhone 6SE, it has now been made official today by Apple themselves that they would be releasing their much anticipated units on the 7th of September.
They started to send out various invites to media houses which portrays their next big announcement and right now, what more could be considered big for Apple except for the launch of this new device?
Regardless of what we have heard so far, whether or not we would have three or two units of the iPhone this year, what they would be calling the names of these ones and a host of other unanswered questions, the 7th of September is the day when we get to see the ability of the new A10 chipset, see the functionality of the improved antenna position and maybe, just maybe, some water resistance package.
