Apple likely to launch 12.9 inch “iPad Pro 2” in 2017
Three iPad devices would be launched come the year 2017 and this new information is courtesy of Ming-Chi Kuo, a very well connected analyst in the rans of KGI. According to the leak, we would be having a device that would be branded the iPad Pro and this one would come with 10.5 inches of screen, probably the biggest we have seen?
From this leak also comes information to support those we have been having earlier, suggesting that Apple is really considering a redesign of its device models including the creation of a new chassis that would serve as their new template.
This 10.5-inch device would not be the biggest in the iPad Pro series as he also spoke about an iPad Pro 2 having 12.9 inches on its own. Although there would be a neat revamp of hardware specs and even more features to boot, Kuo does not think that any of these would give the iPad series any more success and the sales are expected to continue in the downward path as we have recently seen.
We advise that this be taken with a pinch of salt even though Ming-Chi Kuo is a trusted tipster but since we haven’t gotten any official release from Apple themselves.
