Apple provides a way to remove U2 ‘s rock music from from iOS
“If you would like U2’s ‘Songs of Innocence’ removed from your iTunes music library and iTunes purchases, you can choose to have it removed,” Apple announced.
The rock band performed at Apple’s keynote even where the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 were announced. It was reported that Apple paid U2 the sum of $100 million to pre-load their songs on iTunes and iOS 8 but the idea didn’t go down well with some users who didn’t want to hear rock music, let alone U2’s rock music.
But now, Apple has provided a tool which you can use to delete these songs if you don’t want them, but then, the iPhone maker quickly noted that once deleted, you’ll have to purchase the songs again if you ever want them back.
