Apple Watch launched, priced $349 to $12,000
The Apple Watch is finally here. This is no ordinary watch. It’s a watch for the rich and the curious ones who’d like to have their data on their wrists.
Apple Watch Sport
Apple Watch comes in two, nay, three variants – the Apple Watch Sport is the least expensive and perhaps, the least spec’d. The Watch Sport chassis was built out of an aluminum aloy and the device itself goes for $349 and $399 for the 38mm and 42mm frames respectively.
Apple Watch or the “normal Apple Watch” is the classic version here. The Watch also comes in two sizes and pack a price tag of $549 to $1049 for the smaller (38nm model) and $599 to $1099 for the bigger variant (48nm) and the prices are solely dependent on the configurations (frame, strap) you choose.
Apple Watch Edition
Oh, you think the Apple Watch is costly? Wait till you see the 18K gold model going on sale for $10,000 at 38nm while the 48nm model flies at a whooping $12,000. This one is a limited edition model and needless to say, it’s for the rich section of the crowd.
Apple says sales of the smartwatches will kick off in these 12 countries on April 10: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, United Kingdom and the United States.
