BlackBerry hits the court to stop VP from joining Apple bandwagon
BlackBerry has opted to go to court to stop senior VP of software, Sebastien Marineau-Mes, from joining Apple, until at least July.
Marineau-Mes was promoted to Executive Vice President of Product Development back in September of 2013, and under the contract agreement signed to give the company a six months notice before leaving.
But in a twist of events Apple made him a offered he cannot reject by offering him VP of Core OS at Cupertino and he hastily sacked his current employees by giving them a two months notice.
Now, BlackBerry is in court, trying to see if they could keep their man in until they find a replacement.
