Blackberry Priv goes up on pre-order (updated)
Despite the fuss that has been generated by the Blackberry Priv device, speculations on specifications and interesting news of the Android from Blackberry coming to light every time, Blackberry itself has sought to put a lid over the constant noise in the media by just opening up shop fort the pre-order of its new flagship device, eliminating all other forms of publicity such as hosting a media event and the likes.
The Blackberry Priv is set to make its entrance into the smartphone market on the 16th of November and according to sources, this device is not compatible with the Sprint, Verizon and U.S Cellular carriers. The starting price for the sale of the Blackberry Priv (via pre-order) is $749.
The final and confirmed spec sheet of the devices sees it stand in line with other 5.4″ dual curved screen which has been made of the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 technology. A Snapdragon 808 chipset is present on board with some 3GB of RAM to run on. The GPU is also of Adreno 418 build, not forgetting that its CPU is hexa-core.
After the 16MP camera on the back for rear photo shooting is the 2MP on the front of the device for your selfies and personal video recording. It packs a battery of 3140mAh that is promised would last some 22.5 hours with fair mixed usage.
