Cambridge University Shamed After Final Exams
Cambridge University students are looked upon as being one of the most prestigious, smartest and well behaved in the country. But last month the new generation managed to destroy what the previous ones had been building for years.
This all happened on a so called “Suicide Sunday”, which is a Sunday after the exams end at Cambridge University in June and is a tradition of the Wzverns drinking society. This all happened during the annual punt race on the River Cam.
Cambridge students made terrible scenes for the people that went with their families there. They were vomiting into the river, and also throwing condom water bombs on each other. They also used oars to sink their opponents punt. They couldn’t even control their punts and keep them straight so they kept bumping into tourists’ punts that were on the river.
Tourists were shocked by this behavior that doesn’t suit students of the elitist university in the country. One visitor said: “It was supposed to be the highlight of my family visit to Cambridge, but it left my children terrified, they were drunken oafs. They hit our boat, nearly knocking us into the river.”
There were 20 teams that participated in the annual race but it appears most of them spent their afternoon drinking. Apparently a party was organized by Wyverns’ drinking society that is known at the Cambridge University for allowing its members to drink too much. Over a thousand students attended this party which would explain why they were drunk in the evening when it was time for the race.
