Cubot X16 To arrive with special gesture controls
The makers of Cubot X16 device which is soon to hit the market added a few interesting gesture features to the flagship device in a bid to set it apart and make it the favorite as soon as it hits the market. The flagship device which features a 5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920) display, a 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTekMTK6735 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 5MP front facing camera, 13MP back camera powered by a 2,500mAh battery has been equipped with the following features:
Light and Distance Sensors alerting the smartphone to keep tab of its present environment be it on the table, in your pocket or safely kept in a backpack. This feature is to prevent unintentional waking of the lock screen which turns the device on.
The Smartphone is also set to feature a Double-Click-To-Wake Lock screen function which allows the user to double-click the lock screen without actually unlocking the device therefore displaying details such as time, date, weather and other information while keeping the lock screen locked until the smartphone is ready to be used for serious operational duties.
The double-click feature is however disabled when the smartphone detects that the device is in a dark environment such as the pocket, this feature within the Cubot X6 official software is called the Double Click Pocket Protection.
The Cubot X6 also spots a New Screenshot Motion feature which captures the smartphone’s display when three fingers are swiped up or down the display.
