Details of Apple’s A11 chipset surfaces
Apple’s plan to unveil its new chipset along with three more smartphones, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X has been brought to the fore ahead of the official unveiling which has been scheduled for tomorrow, September 12.
The tech company is expected to unveil its next mobile chip tomorrow but ahead of the big event, it has been revealed that the processor, the Apple’s A11 chipset will pack a six-core processor.
Apple’s latest A11 chipset will according to new information come packing two high-power Monsoon cores while the remaining four cores to make up six will be Mistral cores.
All of the cores according to the information made available will be independently controllable which means they will be able to run simultaneously thereby giving the upcoming smartphone an edge in terms of processing speed.
The latest information about the soon to be announced chipsets which will power the three phones was made known by developer Steve T-S who extracted pieces of information from the iOS 11 Golden Master which hinted on the technology behind the Apple’s Face ID.
