Details of Meizu M2 arrive: MediaTek MT6753 chipset, 2GB RAM
Today, we’ve discussed pretty much about upcoming flagship devices. Starting from Apple’s September-bound iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus battleships which are expected to arrive with improved front-facing webcams, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 also made the news with a lot of new features mentioned as coming to the Samsung phablet lineup.
The next smartphone we have on line is Meizu’s yet-to-be-announced M2. Although you won’t call this a very high end device, you have to give it to the Chinese phone maker for bringing exciting things to the table with their low pricing schemes.
With the Meizu M2 Note, a $130 smartphone with a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, already released, it’s smaller sibling, the Meizu M2 is expected to appear smaller and cost cheaper albeit with similar specs.
There you have it, we were in luck today to come across a report by the Chinese media giving details of the mobile. According to the sources, the M2 is coming with a 4.6-inch display and will retain the 1080p resolution on the Note, exactly as we have guessed.
There’s 2GB of RAM as well as a MediaTek MT6753 chipset and 32GB ROM to rock the engine. From the pictures that came with the report, the handset will sport a glossy plastic cover and a Meizu event coming up later this month in China is expected to witness the launch of this device.
