Dual lens feature on the iPhone 7 Plus could cause demand problems
Word on the street of smartphones right now is that for the upcoming iPhone devices, Apple would be introducing a dual lens camera in the bigger variant which would be coming in at 5.5 inches of screen and if this is truly the case, it is now predicted that Apple could have a very hard time keeping up with the demands of this iPhone 7 Plus.
A note was issued by the Amit Daryanani of RBC capital to investors in the course of this week and a copy of the note explained the features that we should be expecting on the upcoming iPhone 7 series and due to the fact that the demand for phablets in the smartphone market is now increasing by the day, it is stated therein that the iPhone 7 Plus would take up a one-third of the total production activities on 2016 line-up of iPhones.
With the larger iPhone 6 Plus also having a better camera than its brother in the family, we have reason to believe that the same trend would be taken by the 7 family and if the dual lens camera with capability for DSLR imaging is true, there would be limited availability of the units of the iPhone 7 Plus at launch, all according to Amit.
