Expected Nexus Marlin M1 shows up on AnTuTu, specs leak
We have been getting a series of leaks on the smaller version of the 2016 Nexus which has been codenamed the Sailfish while its much bigger variant had been keeping silent all the while but now, all that is soon to change.
The bigger version of the Google Nexus which is touted to be made by HTC and codenamed Marlin M1 recently had itself tested on the AnTuTu benchmark and from there, we have a few more specifications to look at before the final launch.
From this latest benchmark test, we can now truly confirm that the Marlin would be carrying a 5.5-inch screen and if you are further interested in the resolution, you have it at 1440 x 2560. Beneath the glass is a QUALCOMM snapdragon 820 chipset which has a quad core CPU and processes graphics with the Adreno 530 GPU. As regards the innards, there is 4GB of RAM on board which is coupled to an internal storage space of 32GB. Your camera needs have been soothed with the 13MP out back and an 8MP shooter up front.
The overall operation of the device totally depends on how long the 3450mAh battery can keep the lights on for and as we all know, this new Marlin would not launch unless it was running the newest and yet to be launched new Google Android OS version, the Nougat 7.0.
