Google confirms total ditching of the Nexus name, removes 2015 Nexus from its listings
Even if you have been living under a rock all these while, there is no way that you wouldn’t have known that Google already have two devices in their line-up now that were launched just yesterday and unlike the Google devices that we have come to know, this one would be carrying a Google branding on its lower back and as well, forget the Nexus branding that we used to be treated to.
Called Pixels otherwise, there are some speculations in the market that it seems that the global software giant are looking to undergo another kind of project or launch on another market with the Nexus but now, it has been confirmed officially that there would be no further Nexus devices as from now on.
To make matters worse, Google is now showing that they have no further use for that naming as they have pulled the last of that kind from the website, meaning that you can no longer find traces of the existence of the Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P form last year on their official pages. Meaning business, this means that they would really be going all out to push the Pixel brad from now on and forget the Nexus.
