Google Nexus 6P: 3450mAh battery, OIS and Wi-Fi calling confirmed (exclusive)
Google’s Nexus 6P has been a popular topic in the news section over the past few weeks. On Tuesday (Oct 29), Google is expected to launch the Huawei-manufactured Android 6.0 smartphone alongside the Nexus 5X. The latter was produced by LG and will be running on the all new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system as well.
As part of the anticipation building around the Nexus devices’ launch, we’ve featured a leaked presentation material which contained photo and specs slides of the upcoming Huawei Nexus 6P. The document confirmed the phone’s rumored 5.7″ Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and available color accents were also detailed.
In the latest round of information BestMobs exclusively received, a trusted source who claims to have possession of the Nexus 6P’s system.img file, alleges that the codes have traces of optical image installation feature in the camera. He mentioned of the presence of Wi-Fi calling and confirmed that the smartphone will indeed come with a 3,450mAh battery just like the leaked slides cited. The source also assured us that the upcoming Nexus phablet will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset.
While many Android fans are beckoning on Tuesday to come so fast, it’s important to note that Google is likely not going to feature a new tablet in its announcements on the big day. Unlike previous years where the software giant usually outs one Nexus smartphone and one Nexus tablet, this year will witness the release of two smartphones: the 5.7-inch Huawei Nexus 6P and 5.2-inch LG Nexus 5X.
