Google’s 2016 Nexus would make improvements on fingerprint scanners
We have been getting a variety of news and catching a lot of flying rumours as regards the Google Nexus devices for the year 2016 and today, we have even more info as regards these devices. For one, Google would still be making use of the Huawei trick and further modify the fingerprint sensor in a way that would allow users perform a swipe down on the sensor to access their notifications panel.
Huawei was the first brand to make use of this kind of technology and they even extended the favour to their sub brand – the Honor line-up – by giving the feature to their Honor 5X smartphone. Like those devices, just making a quick swipe in the downwards direction on the rear fingerprint scanner would show you your notifications tab very fast.
Currently, there is no news to suggest that Google is willing to extend this feature to their 2015 Nexus smartphones but it would surely be a plus if this kind of support is provided too.
