Honor 8 launches in India alongside two other smartphones
We have already heard that Huawei is planning to launch another variant of the Honor 8 device being produced by their sub-brand in the Indian market and now that we have seen the launch event held in the region, we know that they were actually planning two different devices – the Honor 8 Smart and Honor Holly 3 – to launch in this market alongside the normal Honor 8.
Considering the specs, the Honor 8 itself coms out of the box with dual sensor cameras on the back like the Huawei P9 also rocks and uses the Kirin 950 chipset, not forgetting that it has some 4GB of RAM stuck with 32GB internal storage memory, all under the 5.2 inch screen powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Going to the other end a little bit, we have the Honor 8 Smart which retains the 5.2 inch of screen and a 13MP camera on the back while the front still remains its single 8MP unit. Even though the battery power stayed the same, the chipset that runs inside this one is the Kirin 650 instead.
The last one is the Holly 3 which, being the first Huawei device to be made in India, would also be the cheapest of the bunch is coming with the same 13MP/8MP camera configuration, uses a bigger 5.5 inch of screen with 1080p technology and finally, takes its own power from a slightly higher 3100mAh battery.
