Here’s the HTC One M9 Plus with physical home key (like Samsung’s)
A couple of days after the HTC One M9 broke cover, we brought you news of another unannounced model of the Taiwanese phone maker’s flagship device, the HTC One M9 Plus.
Just as the M9 is nearing release next month, the rumors keep getting stronger about the bigger M9 Plus phablet and today, another purported picture of the reported device made rounds on Twitter via serial tech leaker, @OnLeaks.
Of course, looking at the pictures of the handset (flanked by the HTC One M9 on the outsides), you could see the larger screen thus larger body of the HTC One M9 Plus, thus the “Plus” name. Another difference between the latter and former is the presence of a physical home button on the Plus model unlike in recent HTC models.
Going further, it looks like the One M9 Plus will feature a dual camera setup, just like last year’s HTC One M8. Though we are yet to confirm this but the presence of something which looks like a second sensor above the main camera at the back of the upcoming device makes it look obvious.
On specs, the HTC One M9 Plus has two sides to its tale. One version has it that the smartphone is coming with a 5.5″ Quad HD display while another states a 5.2″ one of the same resolution, however, both accounts agree the smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and a MediaTek MT6795 chipset and maybe a Snapdragon 810 for customers outside China.
