HTC planning a sequel to the iPhone-lookalike One A9, to be called One A9s
HTC is no stranger when it comes to courting some controversy when need be, and that they did again when last year they released the HTC One A9. The thing about this device was that even though it has premium build, finished with metal and that divine touch that speaks of HTC smartphones, they did get some eyebrows raised with the way they handled the rest of the design on this mid-range offering and by the time the first week of launch would be over, they had received a lot of complaints from different quarters about ripping off the iPhone design.
Now, some sources have claimed that HTC is not planning to stop in this line of dices and that soon, they would be releasing its successor – the HTC One A9s. With the alleged images of the One A9s shown as seen above, one cannot but notice that the newcomer has kept most of the features of its predecessor in terms of build and we can notice the changes too, one of the subtlest being the changing of the camera units’ positions.
We know for sure that the front unit on this new one, should it turn out to be true, would be a 5MP snapper while the rear unit would have to make do with 13MP. Asides that, we have no other info on the One A9s yet.
