HTC stores in India to provide support for Google Pixel devices
Google has linked up with HTC to get things done more times than one and the most recent that we all heard about was the creation of a new line of devices that would go on to be the Pixels, dumping the Nexus line up of smartphones in the process.
Now that the Google Pixels have been launched in the Indian market, it is only natural that they get where they can go to in the case of repairs and other faults. Given that Google cannot just start creating stores overnight, they have reached another agreement with HTC stores across the country and they have agreed to provide warranty and repair support services to the users of either the Google Pixel or Pixel XL in the region.
In the United States though, this same kind of agreement wold not hold as they would be handling their own issues themselves through the various Google Store outlets that have been scattered across the country.
Likewise, given that HTC does not have the same presence it does in the US as it is in India, it would be unwise to entrust this kind of work to them in the same region.
