Huawei Honor 3X Pro and Honor 3C 4G hit the road running
Huawei has outed two smartphones at a special event in it’s homeplace of China. Keep in mind that these two phones — Honor 3X Pro and Honor 3C 4G — are succeeding the Honor 3X and Honor 3C who only broke cover only 5 months ago.
The rest of the specs were basically unchanged — 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera, 1.2GHz octa-core Cortex-A7 CPU in a MediaTek MT6592 chipset, 2GB of RAM.
To keep things new, Huawei put a Note 3-like “smooth skin texture design” cover on the back of the Honor 3X Pro.
The smartphone will be available at the price of 1,698 yuan, which means $272 in US dollars.
Huawei Honor 3C 4G is an LTE-enabling update of the old Honor 3C. To make it work with China Mobile’s TD-LTE, Huawei had to upgrade the chipset to a quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 which beats at 1.6GHz.
Other things in the phone remained the same.
On pricing, the Honor 3C 4G will be sold at $160/$208, for the 1GB RAM (8GB storage)/2GB RAM (16GB storage) respectively.
