Huawei introduces new colour to the Mate 9 lineup
The Huawei Mate 9 was unveiled just last month, November, and when it did launch, we got more colour options than we asked for and we would never run out of colours to pick from. To make sure we do not really get stuck and void of choices, Huawei has brought on a new black skin for the smartphone less than a couple months after launch. Called Obsidian Black, the new model has a classy and premium finish that is usually associated with the black colour and is no doubt, very appealing.
Minus the paint job on the body, the unit is the same as every other Mate 9 out there in terms of specs and even the price doesn’t change. As per the availability of the new units, the Obsidian black was made a Christmas special and is already on sale so you could order on from your local online or offline store if you’d like to snag a unit.
