Huawei Mate 8 and P9 users in China may be getting Nougat bump early
This month is still very young and not being at even the middle days yet, it can be easily recalled that Huawei announced their Nougat calendar in the opening days of the month and that was when they told us that the first set of devices which carry their own name and manufacturing design to carry the Nougat banner would be none other than the Huawei P9 and Mate 8 units likewise.
As to this announcement, it also followed that this update would only start to roll out to these selected units from the first quarter of the next year but now, it seems that the units of these devices in China would start to get theirs on the 7th of December, meaning some of the Huawei users in this Asian country have already started to taste the new dessert.
For the P9, this update would be seen on the device with a build number of B352 while it carries a build number of B552 for that which would be hitting the Mate 8 instead. However, while this is for the normal users of the device and not those that have signed up for the Nougat beta test platform, the Huawei P9 Plus is expected to get on the Nougat train today.
