Intex launches the Aqua Super smartphone
Intex launched the Aqua Super smartphone on Tuesday and would available at a market price of Rs. 10,390. The new budget smartphone will be available in the color variants of Black, Champagne, Grey and White as from next week.
The “budget smartphone” supports dual-SIM function and runs an Android 5.1 Lollipop on a 5-inch HD screen with 720×1280 screen resolution and a pixel density of 293 ppi powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6753P chipset clocked at a speed of 1GHz. The smartphone is embedded with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage memory which is expandable using microSD to up to 128GB and features an 8MP rear-facing camera with a 2MP front facing camera on the front panel. The camera is equipped with a number of selections such as the Face detection, auto scene detection, self timer mode, smile detection, face beauty, live photo and panorama mode.
On the connectivity front, the 144×75.3×7.65mm smartphone supports 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS / A-GPS options backed up by the 2150mAh battery which is reported to deliver it to 6 hours of talk time and a standby time of 250 hours.
The Aqua super also comes preloaded with some applications such as the Matrabhasa, Follo, Quikr, Intex Play, Opera-Mini, Clean Master and Newshunt while spotting sensors such as the accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
