Introducing Lenovo Z1 Smartphone
Lenovo soon to introduce a Sub Brand phone for Indian mobile market, the company is set to launch Zuk Z1 second week of this month.
Lenovo developed a sub brand for them to counter Xiaomi’s surge sales on the mobile competition in China. And with this sub brand it allows Lenovo to exploit a low cost online based only Micromax which known to be sold only online.
Zuk started its operation last year, but the first product was launched in August. This was ahead to Indian launch. So as usual we test the capabilities of Lenovo ZuK.
To start, Lenovo Z1 doesn’t look like Lenovo’s usual device, and this time it sports a different design. The device front is 5.5 inches. The device glass is curved slightly making it comfortable to grip.
The back feels plastic but overall it is not removable. You cannot see branding embedded on the device back. the phones chamfered edges makes the device neat to look at, you can also see plastic antenna running on the panels of Zuk Z1. As usual the power and volume buttons resides on the right side make easier to manipulate. The audio jack is on top, while the device speaker and the charging port are located on bottom. According to Lenovo, the device supports 5Gbpd transfer speed via USB 3.0 making the data transfer 10 x faster than the 2.0 version.
Overall Zuk Z1 looks above and phone feels sturdy as well. Weight 175 grams is considered bit heavy device.
