Leaked AT&T document suggests the iPhone 7 might be released later than expected
The upcoming iPhone device is still about a month away but that doesn’t make it escape the constant barrage of reports, leaks and rumours. In a recent report, we might have some privileged information now as to when the iPhone 7 would launch, when the preorders for the latest Apple flagship would start and what date we expect it to finally start shipping to interested customers. Excited already, aren’t we?
We have already gotten access to a piece of allegedly trustworthy information that claimed that the newest in Apple line-ups would be launched on the 7th of September, go on for preorders as at the 9th day of the same month and to end the wait for customers, start shipping on the 16th of the same month.
According to a document that has been leaked by one of the major carriers in the United States, AT&T, the device might not be available in stores till about 7 days later on the 23rd of September. With this new timeline, storage managers for AT&T would be looking to launch their ads for the upcoming iPhone twice in the same month, the first time being on the 9th when the preorders start and the next being on the 23rd when we are supposed to have it released.
We are assuming that if this information is correct, the Apple is going the way of the iPhone 6s’ launch which was shipped two weeks after launch, as opposed to the one week taken by the ordinary iPhone 6.
