Lenovo Vibe Shot and Lenovo A7000 unveiled
Chinese tech giant Lenovo has unleashed two smartphones at the Mobile Word Congress in Barcelona and among these is one merciless camera beast called the Lenovo Vibe Shot. This device has a 16-megapixel camera with tri-color LED flash.
If a 16 MP BSI sensor with optical image stabilization, tricolor LED flash, and six-element lens with sapphire coating doesn’t make a camera-oriented handset, we don’t know what does, but the kicker is that Lenovo managed to stuff all that jazz in a premium 7.3mm thin chassis that is built of aluminum, with Gorilla Glass 3 front and rear surface.
For other specs, the Vibe Shot has a 5.0-inch 1080p display and is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset and 3GB of RAM. The device is also endowed in the front with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The software is run by Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop OS themed with Lenovo’s in-house Vibe UI.
Lenovo says the premium camera phone is coming in June at the price of $349 per unit though the company didn’t make it clear on which countries will be getting the product.
On the other hand, you have a Lenovo A7000 mid range phablet. The device comes with a 5-5.-inch 720p display and shares similar specs with the A6000 which was only released in January. The A7000 houses a MediaTek MT6752 chipset, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear came plus a 5-megapixel front facer. The smartphone will hit the shelves later this month for $169.
