LG G4 to pack fingerprint sensor
It looks like LG Electronics’ next flagship, the LG G4, will be packing some features the company has neglected for years. While Apple and fellow Koreans Samsung both used fingerprint IDs in their 2014 flagships, LG explained the tech is not yet ripe/necessary for mobile phones.
With the LG G4 breaking cover sometime next month, Korean media wants us to believe the handset will pack a fingerprint sensor even though there wasn’t a clear indication on where the sensor will be placed (back or on home button).
The LG G4 is expected to use a 63-bit Snapdragon 810 chipset from Qualcomm. The upcoming flagship smartphone will be using a 16-megapixel camera as well.
