Micromax Bolt A47 and Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 released
Micromax has released two phones, one for the entry level and the other, a tad nice mid ranger suitable for the budget market.
Micromax Bolt A47 has a 4-inch display (480×800 pixels), 1.3GHz dual core processor, 0.5GB RAM and Mali 400 graphics processor. The phone features 2MP rear and 0.3MP front-facing cameras and run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. You’ll get to see 1600mAh power pack when you open the removable back cover on the smartphone.
The Bolt A47 comes with only 2G network support for both SIM slots, but there’s WiFi, Bluetooth and A-GPS. The phone is retailing on some Indian online stores for Rs. 4,699, about $195 in US dollars.
Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 is the larger, superior smartphone. With a 5″ display at 480×854 pixels resolution, the Canvas Blaze MT500 can make things happen with a 1GHz dual-core CPU, Adreno 305 GPU and 768 megabytes of RAM. It further packs an 8MP camera at the back and a VGA webcam on the front.
The Canvas Blaze MT500 features two SIM slots but here’s the twist: One SIM slot accept mini SIM card and offers only 2G networks while the other SIM slots accepts only CDMA SIM cards.
The smartphone offers a 1850mAh Li-Ion battery which Micromax claims can add up 120 hours in standby while having a 5-hour talk time life. The Micromax Canvas Blaze MT500 is priced at Rs. 11,999 or $194.54.
