Microsoft to launch Lumia 950 and 950XL on November 30 in India
The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL may not find their way into the Indian market until next month as the company has schedules November 30 as date for official launch of the smartphones. The announcement of the launch date was made by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella at I’m the company’s Future Unveiled Conference held in Mumbai earlier this month.
Microsoft India confirmed with tech news website Gadgets 360 of the launch date but withheld information about what is to be launched on the date while Windows Central reported that the company is planning a launch of the Lumia 950, 950 XL and likely t Display Dock on November 30 in India. The Display Dock is a device which allows Windows 10 mobile smartphones to connect seamlessly to a large monitor there u creating a Window 10-kike desktop mode.
The Lumia 950 which would be available at a pricing of roughly Rs. 35,800 features a 5.2-inch QHD Display with pixel density of 564ppi and powered by an Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.8GHz with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage memory which is expandable to up to 200GB using microSD card while the Lumia 950 XL on the other hand available at a pricing of roughly Rs. 42,300 spots a 5.7-inch QHD display with a 518 pixel density and is powered by a Qualcomm Octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset with 3GB of RAM an 32GB of internal storage memory expandable to up to 200GB.
