Motorola unveils the 21-megapixel Droid Turbo 2
Motorola took the veil off two new smartphones at a media event on Tuesday, The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 in succession to their last year’s Droid Turbo device and the Motorola Droid Maxx 2. With the Droid Turbo 2 device boasting of features such as the 5.4” display screen with a QHD (1440×2560) display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 oct-core SoC paired with a whooping 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
The device comes with a range of internal storage size of 32GB and 64GB options with both having an expansible storage of up to 2TB card support. The device is powered by a 3760mAh battery which juices is claimed to last up to 2days under mixed use.
Seeing as photography is an essential part of the 21st century tech gagdets, the device is packed with a 21-mega pixel rear-camera with f/2.0 aperture with the incorporation of a dual LED flash for lightening and a Phase Detect Auto-Focus. The device spots a 5-mega pixel front facing camera which would give the selfie lovers a thing or two to be happy about.
The Droid Turbo 2 is slated to be available in the United States from October 29, 2015. The company is also bringing a medium for device customization into the offer with the Moto Maker phone customization program which Motorola says will provide users with more than 1,000 ways to design and re-design their phones.
Motorola Droid Turbo 2 exclusively available on US carrier Verizon and is priced $624.
