Nexus 5 not on the list for Android Nougat bump, but you could get it
Even though a lot of Android enthusiasts fell very much in love with the Nexus 5 when it was launched and even till now, they still have a great affection for it, it did not sit well with them when they heard that their beloved smartphone would not be getting the bump to this Android Nougat.
However, if there is something that we have gotten to know about this generation, it is that there are a lot of modifications and tweaks everywhere to make almost anything happen, even as much as porting a Lumia device to the Android platform?
Even though the firmware version for the Nougat just got released, developers have not been resting and they have finally cracked the code to get this working on devices like the Nexus 5, but you would need to have strong mind to go through with this.
For one, the camera on the device would not work and you would also have to deal with some issues as regards the stability of the device. For now, if you are using the Nougat as your main smartphone, we would advise that you hold off on getting this kind of hack because you might be spelling doom here.
