Nexus 6P coming to India soon, Flipkart teases
Indian e-retailer Flipkart has hinted that it will offer the spanking new Google Nexus 6P in the South East Asian country. Over the years, Flipkart has been an exclusive partner of Motorola in India even when the latter was still owned by Google. After the acquisition of Motorola by Lenovo last year, Flipkart continued offering Moto phones in India under the exclusive partnership.
It appears that Google has yet stuck another agreement with Flipkart to offer this year’s Google Nexus 6P which was manufactured by Huawei, a China-based OEM. Flipkart has also set up a mock listing page for the device on its online store where the product is teased as “coming soon.”
It is believed that the Nexus 6P will cost around INR 39,999 ($610) in India for the 32GB while the 64GB and 128GB editions feature the prices of INR 42,999 ($656) and INR 47,999 ($732) respectively.
For the records, the Nexus 6P comes with a gigantic 5.7″ display, 3GB of RAM, 64 bit based Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 12.3MP primary camera (with dual LED flash), 5MP secondary camera, fingerprint scanner, USB type-C connector and a non-removable 3450mAh battery.
The Android 6.0-running handset has gone on sale in some places including the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe.
