Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to break cover with retina scanner?
When we told you that Samsung was going to include a retina scanner (a feature that reads your retina’s thumbprint to unlock your phone) in the Samsung Galaxy S5, it looked as if we were joking around.
Well, the Samsung Galaxy S5 came out. Albeit, it didn’t have a retina scanner but a fingerprint sensor instead. Samsung was said to have run short of time in including the retina feature.
The Galaxy S5 (including the Galaxy S4) had a eye reader which turns the phone’s display off when you are not looking, it should be noted tha this is far different from a retina scanner.
To cut the long story short, Samsung’s upcoming phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, will bear the retina scanner feature.
This was made known as Samsung, via it’s @SamsungExynos handle on Twitter.com, sent the follower teaser with a tittle which read “Security can be improved using features unique to us. That’s what we envision. What would you use? #ExynosTomorrow”
Analysts have said the quote was referring to the Galaxy Note 4, which is expected to break cover in September.
The Galaxy Note 4, among other features it will pack, will bear a 5.7″ Quad HD screen, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 805 processor, Android OS, 16MP OIS camera, and a 3.68MP front-facing camera.
