Nokia Lumia 930, Lumia 635 and dual-SIM Lumia 630 unveiled with the all-new Windows Phone 8.1 OS
At the Microsoft Build Conference which happened last night, Nokia ceased the moment to unveil a trio of Lumia smartphones who all run the all-new Windows Phone 8.1 OS that was also announced at the event.
Nokia Lumia 630 comes with a 4.5-inch ClearBack display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The Lumia smartphone is the first phone to debut the much-awaited Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.
The Lumia 630 is powered by a Snapdragon 400 chipset and Cortex A7 CPU running at 1.2GHz alongside 512MB of RAM. It also features a 5MP camera on the back while there’s no flash and front-facing camera.
The device is supplied current by a 1830mAh battery while Nokia says it will become available by May in different color variants (white, black, yellow, green, orange) at the price of €119/$159 and €129/$169 for the single SIM and dual-SIM variants respectively.
Nokia Lumia 635 is the LTE-enabled twin of the Lumia 630. It has everything the 630 has to offer and measures the same 129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2 millimeters.
The Lumia 635 also comes in white, black, yellow, green and orange color flavors while the official retail price for a unit of the smartphone is €139 (roughly $189).
Nokia Lumia 930 features a 5-inch 1080p screen covered in Gorilla Glass 3 protective coating.
It has a 20-megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics which can pull a lot of tricks including optical image stabilization, panoromaa and a host of others. It’s frontside is endowed with a 1.2MP camera which can record HD motion pictures.
The Lumia 930 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2.2GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, without space for memory card slot.
The phone has a 2420mAh and features a host of connectivity options that include 2G, 3G, 4G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac and USB 2.0.
The Lumia 930 starts at €435 (about $599) and will be available in June with Europe, Asia, Middle East and India being the first customers.
