Nokia plans to shock all with 2016 phone business return
Nokia could be on their way back into producing and marketing mobile phones if latest reports by Re/code news is to believed. The Finnish company outed their first device, a 7.9-inch tablet, late last year after the acquisition of hardware making Nokia Devices & Services department by Microsoft.
Nokia will be producing their first handset next year according to the report. Asides mobile tech, the former mobile phone giant will be venturing into virtual reality, a scene where the likes of Samsung and Apple are interested in, with the former already releasing a product in collaboration with Oculus.
In a separate interview, Richard Kerris, a former Nokia staffer claims that the company has ” a lot of great stuff in development.”
“It gave me complete confidence that Nokia is a company that is not going away,” Kerris added.
