Here’s the latest update on the OnePlus 2 smartphone
Talks making the rounds these days are hinting on a possible Q2 or Q3 release of the OnePlus 2 smartphone – the month of July, in particular.
There is not much info available on the OnePlus 2 as of this writing except for mostly unverified reports and what industry experts are speculating based on last year’s OnePlus One model. These include high-end specs like a Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3 GB RAM, a high-resolution main cam of about 13MP, and a display size identical to or bigger than its predecessor’s 5.5 incher. And, when we say “not much info,” that includes the absence of images too. So forget about convincing yourself you’ve caught a glimpse of the OnePlus 2 on the company’s Facebook page promoting Photo Mania 2015. You were teased – that’s it.
With massive specs and maybe more, the OnePlus 2 is really expected to take the fight to all the monster smartphones out there. But still, reports have it that it will be priced reasonably at around 1,999 Yuan (in China) or $322. This is in line with the desire of OnePlus to sell affordable high-end devices.
