Oppo launches the R9s and R9s Plus in China, announces local pricing information too
The place was China, the exact location was Shanghai and the event is one that we have been waiting for in a while now – the final unveiling of the Oppo R9s and R9s Plus. These ones have been leaking for a very long time now and with the wraps finally taken off, you don’t know the kind of joy that overflew through us and a host of others that are exacting this same kind of news.
When we compare these ones to the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus that were originally launched, we have reason to believe that they really did all they could on this one to ensure that they were upgrades.
Starting with the Oppo R9s, it has a 5.5 inch 1080p touchscreen under which there is a SD 625 chipset which is paired to 4GB of RAM and an internal storage space of 64GB. With a fingerprint scanner on the back, it also has a massive 3010mAh battery to get power from.
Going on to the R9S plus, this one is not only bigger but better in some ramifications also. For example, the 6 inch offering has very little bezels and is powered by a SD 653 chipset, using a bigger 6GB RAM and the same 64GB storage space as the R9s. For battery, this one carries 4000mAh and they both run the Marshmallow out of the box.
For pricing, the Oppo R9s would cost you CNY 2799 while the Plus variant would sell for CNY 3499 instead.
