Oppo Mobiles debuts in Sapphire glass tech with upcoming Oppo R1C
While holding the title of “world’s thinnest smartphone” (with the Oppo R5, of course), China’s Oppo Mobiles is about to strike another breakthrough in the mobile industry if reports about the company’s upcoming device is to be trusted.
Last week, a device called the Oppo R8207 was revealed at TEENA, showing a 5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 13 MP rear/5 MP front-facing cameras and 16GB of storage. According to information coming from China, the device’s final name will be the Oppo R1C and it has some spectacular features in tow.
Popular Chinese blog, MyDrivers, said that the Oppo R1C/R8207 will have it’s back side covered in glossy sapphire glass. There’s still hope for the phone’s screen over sapphire tech even though the site didn’t make any mention of that.
