Reports say Samsung would launch only one flagship in 2017
Samsung has been used to wowing and spoiling its customers with the option to choose from more than one flagship device in a year and if a new report coming out of their home country is to be given thought to, next year won’t be a repeat of this feat.
A year ago, they released the Galaxy S6 line of devices which saw three smartphones in al and clearly highlighted the beauty that is curved screen technology and after a while, they brought in the Note 5 for others to choose from. When this year started, they got to work and they dropped both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in the market and in a while, they also released the Galaxy Note 7 which has since ben recalled due to issues.
If this report caries any element of truth, it would be a step in the right direction for Samsung as it would help them better plan their time and focus all of their resources into making one great device rather than rushing the process and ending up with an issue such as the Note 7 posed in all of the markets that it had already launched in.
Already hearing rumours of the Galaxy S8 in the works, this could be the only Samsung flagship that 2017 offers.
