Rumour: Apple’s next iPhone might be named the iPhone 6SE
The next phones that would come in the line of apple iPhones have generated a bit if buzz in the media for a while now and this would not die down anytime soon without the release of the smartphones themselves or an official statement from Apple. Just last week, a leak form trusted tipster @evleaks showed that the Cupertino based brand might not go for the number 7 in the naming system as they are keeping this for a better revamp of 2017 phones and with new reports surfacing, this claim has been backed in a carefully worded post released by a German blog (apfelpage) which claims that the smartphone giant would go for the name “iPhone 6SE” instead.
Should this turn out to be true, it would be a shocking truth because Apple is known for wanting to get their devices to have the simplest naming systems as can be.
For now, the only other substantial leak we have as regards the device is that it would be a 5.5-inch model and would be announced on the 12th of September, after which it would go on sale on the 16th day of the same month.
