Samsung Galaxy A7 launched in Russia for RUB 31,990 (€450)
The latest and (biggest) member of Samsung Electronics’ fully metal-clad Galaxy A series has come to play in Europe, in Russia specifically.
The Samsung Galaxy A7, also Samsung’s thinnest smartphone ever at 6.3 mm thickness, costs RUB 31,990 in Russia, that’s about $530 or €449 using the current exchange rates. The phone is readily available in white, black, and gold color flavors.
For specs, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch 72-p display with 72.5% screen-to-body ratio. A 13-megapixel camera and 5MP front-facer does the photography job while the whole unit is lit up by a 2600mAh Li-ion battery. The device is running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.
Under the hood, you’ll find a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 for the dual SIM model of the phone, or rather Samsung’s home-baked Exynos 5 Octa 5430 processor for the single SIM version. There’s 16GB of expandable in-built storage as well as 2GB of RAM.
The Galaxy A7 is already available in the Philippines and is also expected to expand to a host of other markets soon.
