Details of Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ spill out
Samsung is preparing to wow phablet consumers with two oversized smartphones during the second half of 2015. First, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to break cover in August — the details were discussed in an earlier round of rumors.
The second phablet smartphone, known as the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, just as it name sounds, takes a large clue from the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, albeit sporting a larger body and wider, taller, borderless screen over the latter.
Information from industry insiders cite the Galaxy S6 edge+ as having a whopping 4GB RAM to align on par with the Galaxy Note 5 in terms of performance. The Plus smartphone is also reportedly going to feature a 64-bit based Samsung-made Exynos 7420 chipset, instead of the earlier reported Qualcomm-produced Snapdragon 808. A 3,000mAh battery will back the device with electricity supply according to the same source.
While we cannot confirm the alleged details of any of these devices (until things are made official by Samsung), we ask you to digest every bit of the info you just heard with a requisite amount of precaution.
