Samsung Galaxy Tab E announced for HTC’s Taiwan
Samsung has just unveiled a new slate in Taiwan, home country of both embattled phone maker, HTC, and it’s potential suitor, Asus.
The Galaxy Tab E features a 9.6-inch touchscreen with 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. There’s a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, with space for slotting a microSD card for memory expansion.
Depending on a 5,000mAh battery for power, the new Samsung tablet runs on the Google Android 4.4 KitKat mobile platform. The slate’s polycarbonate body tips the scale at 490 grams with 8.5mm thickness.
For pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E costs an equivalent of $226 and should hit the shelves proper by month end.
