Samsung Galaxy View (18.4″ tablet) ready to roll out, gets Bluetooth certification
If you’ve been following the latest mobile industry trends on the website, my bet is that you’ll know about Samsung’s upcoming SM-T670 tablet which is reportedly coming with an 18.4-inch (foldable?) screen.
At the IFA in Berlin earlier this month, the South Korean phone maker teased a tablet which many (including us) believed to be the 18.4″ device in question. Samsung said the name of the slate is “Samsung Galaxy View”, but we hardly believe that the image they used in the teaser accurately depicts the slate since we’ve been hearing of foldable displays and all that.
Just recently Bluetooth SIG certified the Bluetooth radio hardware on the Galaxy View/SM-T670 tablet. Though it doesn’t necessarily mean the tablet will be released promptly, the approval at least guarantees that the final product is ready and could be heading for a launch soon.
Finally, the SM-T670 according to reports, is expected to feature an 18.4-inch display — as already mentioned, 1080p resolution, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space, a 64 bit Exynos 7580 chipset, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel webcam. The slate is said to be measuring 451.8 x 275.8 x 11.9 mm.
