Earlier this month, a “19-year-old father of two” from Houston fatally shot himself a day before going to college while in the process of taking a gun pose selfie. Before that, a 21-year-old Russian lady was left in the hospital seriously wounded after she tried flirting with a gun in front of a camera. The story of the guy that got a poisonous bite and thousands of dollars in hospital bills after posing with a rattle snake will ever remain in our books of the most ridiculous selfies ever tried/taken.
CNTraveller has outlined that selfies now lead to more deaths than sharks. Throughout this year, only 8 shark attacks have been reported while selfies led to the death of more than 9 victims, the report cited.
